Faceted High Grade Iron Pyrite. Chispa is the South American name for Iron Pyrite, also known as “fools gold”. This mineral is an iron sulfide with a metallic luster and pale brass-yellow hue that gives it a superficial resemblance to gold, hence the well-known nickname.
