These specimens are known as Dogtooth Calcite or Dogtooth Spar. Forming through mineral precipitation of water-borne Calcite, they are normally found in limestone caves but can also grow in any open space including veins, fractures and geodes. Metaphysically it is used as an energy amplifier and is said to clear and activate all chakras.
