This citrine, which is a heat treated amethyst, is an affordable alternative to natural citrine which is relatively rare. It shows a range of translucent colors from sunny yellow to brown. Citrine is considered the “merchant stone” due to it’s ability to promote abundance, creativity and power.

These are mined and processed in Brazil. To create the cathedral shape, the miners cut the geode in half and polish the face. They then add cement to the base, back, and sides to protect and add stability to the beautiful gold-colored citrine crystals inside. The process also forms a base for the cathedrals to stand on its end. Finally they finish the citrine cathedral by painting the exterior black to match the actual volcanic stone where the geode was found.

Note-some cathedrals will require us to ship on a pallet to avoid damages. Limited number of pieces available within each price range.
