Amazonite is a translucent to opaque stone that can vary from green to bluish green in hue. It is typically found with a white veining pattern. It was named in 1847 after the Amazon River, however, it is not found there and it is sometimes referred to as the stone of the Amazon. Amazonite is thought to help improve confidence and give one more courage. It assists in enhancing creativity and allows it to be expressed. This stone represents Courage & Expression.
