The LED light box has seven colored lights that pulse on and off. The mirrored base rotates with up to 1 1/2 pounds on it. Exceeding 1 1/2 pounds will cause the motor to burn out. The light box only works with the electrical plug-in and can't be used with batteries. In order to get them at the lower price we bought the ones where the battery box is not connected.
NOTE: Some models may have a Red Button on side of box. This is not a reset button. It allows you to try various lighting types and may stop the rotation of the lighted base. Try it and find out.
